Dallas World Aquarium
This post finishes the last of the public aquarium pictures on my PC that were taken before I started this blog. This is from a visit to the Dallas World Aquarium back in April of 2005. I've been there several times since but never remember to bring my camera. These were taken with a disposable camera.
National Aquarium - Baltimore
When I was a kid My Great Grandmother gave me a subscription to World magazine for my birthday. The first issue I received had a feature on the National Aquarium. I kept that issue for years hoping that some day I would get to go.
In May of 2007 I traveled to Philadelphia to see a friend and to go to the Tut exhibit at the Franklin Institute. At the time there was nothing posted on the exhibit making it's way to Dallas, but a little over a year and a half later it's here. I guess I'll have to go again.
On the last day of my trip we drove to Baltimore and I finally got to see the aquarium.
Fort Worth Zoo
Back in July of 2007 the Fort Worth Zoo was having a special exhibit on arachnids which I wanted to see. Unfortunately they had leveled the old aquarium building and only had a few tanks set up in the Australian section.More zoo photos here

Aquarium of the Bay - San Francisco
In May of this year I spent a weekend in San Francisco with my friend Scooter. While there we visited the Aquarium of the Bay.

As a starting point I'm posting a picture of my 46 gallon bow front tank as it looked on 10/25/07. There have been several changes since then and I will give all the specifics of the tank as it is now when I upload a current picture of it.
